Ever since I was little I have loved making up stories and drawing. I have a passion for detail and finding magic, even in the most mundane things. Living in the inherently magical Adelaide Hills, I am very much inspired by my surroundings. Local Australian flora and fauna feature heavily in my artwork and I am actively seeking out projects which allow me to incorporate the majesty of our native environment.
In 2015 I graduated from the 'Bachelor of Design - Visual Communications' degree at the University of South Australia. Accolades I have received include being shortlisted for the cover of the SA Weekend Magazine, having my work placed on the cover of the 2017 Art, Architecture and Design course and being nominated as one of four Students in my degree to be be part of GOTYA - Design Graduate of the Year Awards.
Since graduating I have done some Graphic Design work for the publishing company Murray Books. I have also completed several commissions for small businesses and individuals. I have taught art classes with ArtyTypes Art School at the Hahndorf Academy, with Carclew and on a private basis. My artwork has featured in five major exhibitions and I have attended numerous large design markets including Bowerbird and Gathered. I have completed six children’s books and am currently working on two more. I am passionate about art and look forward to further honing my skills and telling more stories through Illustration.
